Hello. I am back with another fan post and this time it will be a little dramatic and nostalgic because my favorite Korean Boy Band is celebrating their 5th Anniversary today.
SHINee debuted as a 5-member Korean boy band with the title song "Replay" way back May 25, 2008 and the date today is? CORRECT. It's May 25, 2013 and it is exactly 5 years since then.
I will change my way of writing. I am not going to post an essay but rather a poem. YES a poem that I personally made for my 5 boys.
Okay. This is it.
Memoir
Memories scratch at my heart
Which feel like they’re about to rip me apart
Since replay until why so serious era
Everything we saw is a one precious opera
But the world isn’t as easy as it seems
Staggering and stumbling isn’t it interesting
Through the years, we have a bumpy road
That sometimes messed up our own mood
We can’t escape this habit of chasing you
People say we are dumbs that we love you
Daggers stab us in front and in back
But those are not enough to separate us apart
However the challenges are always fun
You serenade and everything will be fine
Our agony and hopelessness will be gone
Yes we love you so much guys as one
When you look at us with those eyes
We want to hold you on our arms
You may not be able to see us convey
We hope our feelings reached you properly
Who would have thought that one of you is afraid of kids?
He hides and runs away avoiding the little being he sees
Fragile as he maybe but his fingers can kill you, really
It can break chestnuts; it is called a ttakbam very powerful actually
Who would have thought that one of you will be a beast?
Miniscule to gargantuan muscles we never expected it at least
Tough guy as he maybe because he looks very manly
To tell you honestly, he is truly the group’s crybaby
Who would have thought that one of you is very garrulous?
His nags, his bluntness, and his laughter would cause a chaos
Talking expert as he maybe but mind you it’s not his specialty
A well-rounder who sings, dances and raps called Almighty
Who would have thought that one of you seems like nobody?
At first he does not talk a lot and keeps his calm and formality
Reserve as he maybe but talk about soccer he will go crazy
He is a maniac, a 3-day London trip was for soccer solely
Who would have thought that one of you will be married?
At such a young age this is not the reality that we wanted
A man as he maybe because he’s trying hard and a wannabe
He tend to lose things with his magic hand, see he is still a baby
Butterfly we felt every time we see you
Charming in different ways each one of you
We can’t stop our hearts from falling for you
We are acting this way, is it fantastic to you?
Someone was tightly seizing our heart
Not letting go you take it all just like that
We feel that you can’t be any more perfect
But your imperfections make you more perfect
We are getting more and more attracted to you
We’re not going anywhere, we’re always here
In SHINee World this is where we belong forever
Even though there is no such thing as forever
Hello, Hello we brought up the courage
We talk to strangers that is how we do it
It is odd but they eventually became friends
“I like SHINee” “You also do” and that’s it
The times we spent by supporting your side
We felt happiness and it shines inside
Who knows the two of us, oh I’m curious
Funny but this question is very ambiguous
The suspect is in here, no one can get out
You and us whoever it is no backing out
When it started is not important
We will be like this, our relationship is significant
The day we chose you is when the world stops
You have fans locate us wherever in the maps
To others 5 is a mere counting number
But to us it holds a lot of meaning to remember
Our arms stretch out forward
Engine is renewed yes we are your bodyguards
The next scene’s climax is just beginning
Your music is alive and is never-ending
Why so serious? This is overwhelming
To our dumb and dumber boys,
Five years had passed
Our love for you will forever last
How was it? I hope it's good enough. I made that during the entire week since Monday May 20, 2013. I only finished some parts in a day then continue the other on the next days. I know my English is not good and I admit that. My weakest subject to be very honest.
BUT OKAY I LOVE THESE 5 BOYS SO MUCH. I KNOW IT IS WEIRD TO SOME OF YOU BUT REALLY TO ME THEY ARE VERY IMPORTANT AND A PART OF MY LIFE TOO. I HAVE MET SO MANY PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD WHO CAN UNDERSTAND ME AND I AM THANKFUL BECAUSE SHINee BROUGHT THEM INTO MY LIFE.
Did you guys notice the BOLD words, sentence, phrases or duh those things in BOLD? YES? YES? Those are English translations of "some" lyrics of SHINee debut and comeback songs since 2008 to 2013. We have there from Replay, Love Like Oxygen, A.Mi.Go, Juliette, Ring Ding Dong, Lucifer, Hello, Sherlock, Dream Girl and Why So Serious. Look Look and Check. Teheeeeee~~~
